Tour description

After breakfast, we leave for an exciting day in the South of Crete. The rugged terrain we drive through is ideal for nature enthusiasts. The route along the heartland offers stunning landscapes before heading southeast through the mountains to a small village called Kato Zakros. It’s almost as if you’ve reached the end of Crete. There are even archeological excavations of a Minoan palace. Time for lunch at a small taverna on the beach.

Our tour wanders past small picturesque mountain villages tucked away amongst the roaming countryside as we return to the hotel via the south coastline of Crete, towards Ierapetra.
